Photocopier & Printer Service Engineer
About The Role
Full-Time, Permanent
Monday – Friday
9:00am – 5:30pm (with a half hour lunch break)
£25,000 – £32,000 a year
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Candidates will need to be familiar with diagnostic aids such as on line repair manuals, circuit diagrams, multi-meters etc. and will need to be familiar with repairing and maintaining photocopiers, multi-functional devices and printer’s on customer premises. A minimum of three years experience in this industry is required.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Photocopier & Printer engineering: 3 years (required)
- Excellent IT/Networking skills
- Knowledge of servers, active directory and group policy would be of great advantage
- Knowledge of basic mechanics, office equipment and electronics
- Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to identify potential business and solution sales
- Knowledge of additional software products such as PaperCut, Document Navigator, FileStar, ScanShare etc. would be of great advantage.
- DBS cleared
- Full, UK clean driving licence required.
About You
You will ideally need previous Konica, Olivetti or Develop MFD, photocopier engineer experience, although engineers with experience on other brands will be considered. You will need to be able to install and repair photocopiers MFDs on customer premises, provide advice and in some cases training to customers, and must have proven excellent communication skills, customer service and customer facing skills. A good understanding of IT networking and loading software i.e. setting up printers on a network and loading printer software and drivers on servers, Mac’s and PC’s is also required.
